ABOUT RYAN ROBINSON

My name is Ryan Robinson. I am currently 18 years old and was born and live in Lichfield, Staffordshire, United Kingdom. I have autism which helps me see football from a different perspective. I have just finished  at the Lichfield campus of south Staffordshire college  studying TV & Film / Journalism (Digital Media) - Level 3 and will start to study football journalism at derby university this September.

The services that I would provide would be commentating, match reporting, filming, editing and photography at any level of skill.

I am a very funny person who will always be the first to crack a joke. I am also a quiet person who keeps himself to himself, but when needed to, is a very good team player and captain. I get along with anyone, whatever age or gender I make the effort to get to know them.

In 2020-21I started doing work experience with level 8 in the football pyramid Chasetown as their match reporter. I have also experienced work experience with Tamworth FC, where I was able to do a wide range of media work for them for example photography and videography. I have also had a huge interest in commentating for as long as I can remember.

My favourite parts of creative media are reporting, commentary and filming but I am willing to try my hand at any creative media aspect that is asked of me. I am a quick worker and take pride in my work.

I have a very talented skill of a photographic memory which really helps me with my commentary, as I can fetch a statistic on the team I’m commentating on straight from my head instead of having to sit knee deep in facts and statistics that I have written down. It also helps my reporting skills as I do not have to make many notes, as I will have it all jotted down in my head.

​

My interests and hobbies are football. if  its Premier league or Sunday league I love it. I love all levels of football. I have been interested in sport since the age of 6 and have been to many matches including international, foreign, Sunday and non league, in particular my beloved boyhood club Aston Villa.
